Andrea Rosales is an artist as well as a jewelry-maker who uses her skills to capture in visual-form her special connection with New York. Using elements of perspective Andrea leaves the pieces up to interpretation, allowing the viewers to project their own individual experience and path in the imagery of her work.

Each piece of jewelry Andrea creates is approached by her as a painter. The process includes creating a study painting first in order to finalize the design of the jewel. All purchases of jewelry pieces are therefore accompanied with a print of the original study painting.

The two unique versions of the Sterling Silver Columbia and Cranberry Street Bangle represent two of her experiences while on a walk after work around Brooklyn Heights. The watercolor paintings depicting the views are attached to a sterling square silver bangle. The clean lines and sharp angles indicate the thoughtfulness behind each design and match well with the abstract artwork.
