Also known as "Rose Bud", this piece is part of a limited edition series of hand-woven long collars titled “Rose Swirls”.  They all have the same design but come in different colors. This one in particular is named Rose Bud for the use of 4 repurposed frosted lucite vintage beads  in the shape of roses. In this case, the 14mm rose buds come in a charming ancient red.

This beaded collar folds on a woman `s body like a textile and it mimics a see-through type of fabric, antique and perlaceous, like some ancient embroidered wedding dress. Inspired by vintage fashion, this statement collar confers  the perfect accent to  a night dress with a deep cleavage. Ideal on an elegant outfit and for special occasions, such as Valentine Day, a Rose Swirls Collar will never pass unnoticed.

This series of statement collars is also hand-woven with the time consuming technique named CRAW, cubic right angle weave, and it took about 30 hours of work to complete this piece. Every replica of this design is slightly different, which thing makes every piece absolutely special.
